Legend has it that the sage used to meditate near the lake and hence it has been rendered sacred; the locals believe that due to this the lake never freezes completely. This lake is held sacred to the sage, Rishi Brighu, a great saint of Indian history. With respect to the above criteria, Bhrigu Lake trek is a moderate trek on a difficulty level ranging from easy to difficult. You start from Manali which is at an altitude of 6,725 ft and reach an altitude of 14,009 ft in a matter of 4 days. The trail is a steady ascent to the lake. It is a trek that not only has some of the best views of meadows and the Himalayan range but is a perfect trail for beginners or first-time trekkers.

What to Pack
- Trek Shoes: Carrying good trek shoes is a must as the terrain is going to be tough
- Backpack: A 30-40 litre backpack is required to carry all your essentials for the trek.
- Clothing: You should carry multiple layers of clothing, as weather can change drastically in minutes on such treks. carrying a rain coat is recommended as it can rain anytime.socks and gloves accordingly.
- Others : Carrying socks 0f 4 pairs ,ie ;2 pair normal and 2 pair wooden socks of cold weather conditions. Thermals are compulsorily recommended for high altitude treks

Itinerary
Day 1Manali - Gulaba (9842 ft) Trek to Rauli Kholi (12532 ft) 5 hrs.
Meet & Greet At Manali & Drive from Manali to Gulaba last curve where we start our trek. We trek through the dense forest of Deodar, and Fir. Gradually walking through the forest we cross the Thach ( pasture ) of Khanora. Overlooking at Solang, Kothi below and Hanuman Tibba plus numbers of birds can be spotted, out of all spectacular is Monal pheasant. Finally we arrive at Siyander thach or Rauli Kholi. Which is also a nice campsite.
Lunch + Dinner
Day 2Trek to Bhrigu Lake (14107 ft) And Back Rouli kholi(12532ft)
We start the day early and post breakfast we will begin trekking towards Bhrigu Lake. It takes around 3 hours to reach Bhrigu. We will carry packed lunch and have it by the lake side. Care should be taken that no littering happens over here. According to many accounts Rishi Bhrigu meditated here and used to take bath in the holy water. After lunch we will descend to Rohli Kohli campsite and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 3Trek Back To Rauli Kholi - Gulaba (9842ft) - Manali
We will start the last day of the trek with a descent to Gulaba. The trek is easy as it has a moderate descend throughout and will take around 3-4 hours to reach kothi via gulaba And drive To Manali and Departure
